Hot Legs

I love the flavors of hot wings but I don’t like all the fat and bones so I cook hot legs instead!
3 pounds chicken legs
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup cider vinegar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 teaspoons  Tabasco, regular, jalapeno or smoky chipotle
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
3/4 cup sour cream
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup buttermilk
1 clove minced garlic
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup crumbled blue cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
1. Mix together the oil vinegar, Worcestershire, chili powder, red pepper, Tabasco, salt and pepper and marinate the chicken in it for at least 4 hours.
2. Prepare the blue cheese dip: Mix the sour cream, mayonnaise, buttermilk, garlic, Worcestershire, blue cheese, salt and pepper and refrigerate until needed.
3. Barbecue marinated chicken for about 20 to 30 minutes. You can also bake the legs for 10 minutes and broil them for an additional 10 minutes until done.
